Bill Blair
Bill Blair is a prolific television and film actor. With over 90 series and movies to his credit, he has worked in the industry for nearly four decades. Bill was invited by and is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the first title holder for the category “most special effects characters portrayed in a career” with over 202 characters. His television appearances include Babylon 5, True Detective, Friends, Westworld, The West Wing, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Mad Men, Boston Legal and Frasier. Bill portrayed multiple alien species on several incarnations of the Star Trek franchise such as Cardassians, Klingons, Jem’Hadar, Borg, Vulcans and various other species on Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Enterprise and the Borg Invasion 4D ride at the Las Vegas Star Trek: The Experience attraction. Bill’s film credits include Gone Girl, Nightcrawler, Ed Wood, Star Trek Into Darkness, Argo, RoboCop, The Muppets and Godzilla.
In addition to acting, Bill teaches courses on industry professionalism and protocol, and authored The Professionals Talent Handbook: The Guide to Getting Started. Blair was a member of the band Climax, who had the 1972 hit “Precious and Few” and was road manager and keyboardist on tour with The Classics IV. He also toured with the band Expression in the early 1980s and worked as a disc jockey for the American Hawaii Cruises. Bill continues to act and is scheduled to appear in the upcoming film Mangled Angels. He makes regular convention appearances around the world. Bill resides in the Los Angeles area.
