Selwyn Ward

Selwyn Ward is an American actor best known for his work in the legendary Power Rangers television franchise. He is best known as Theodore Jay “TJ” Jarvis Johnson, the first African American Red Ranger and Ranger team leader in the franchise’s history. He portrayed this role in Power Rangers Turbo and Power Rangers in Space, portraying the Blue Ranger in the latter. He returned to the franchise with guest appearances in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, Power Rangers Wild Force, Power Rangers Megaforce and Power Rangers Ninja Steel. In addition to his time as a Ranger, Selwyn has appeared in television shows including Passions, Moesha and My Morphin Life. His film credits include A Simple Promise, The Expendables and American History X. He produced and starred in the short film The Historian Paradox. He has appeared in music videos for Blackstreet and Public Announcement. Selwyn enjoys meeting fans around the world at conventions with his fellow cast members.
