John Billingsley
John Billingsley is an accomplished television and film actor with over three decades worth of credits. Perhaps best known for Star Trek: Enterprise, John portrayed Dr. Phlox for the series run and developed a fan following. He also starred in Intelligence, The Nine and The Others. He has recurred and guest starred on acclaimed series such as True Blood, Masters of Sex, Nip/Tuck, Scrubs, Six Feet Under, Gilmore Girls, Turn: Washington’s Spies, 24, The West Wing, Stargate SG-1, Grey’s Anatomy, The Mentalist, The Practice and Suits. In addition, he has played a multitude of perps, red herrings and vics in such popular crime shows as NYPD Blue, The Closer, Cold Case, NCIS, CSI, their various siblings and spin-offs and a veritable smorgasbord of other such procedurals and shoot ‘em ups. (No westerns, he can’t ride a horse.)
John’s most recent credits include This Is Us, The Connors, The Rookie, The Resident, Twin Peaks and Seth McFarlane’s The Orville. Among his approximately 35 films: High Crimes, Out of Time, 2012, Sironia, and 20th Century Women. He will (he has been promised!) recur in FOX’s neXT, slated to air in 2020 with John Slattery. In addition to his film and television credits, John was a stage actor for fifteen years and co-founded Book-It Repertory Theatre, devoted to adapting fiction for the stage, and the Freehold Acting Studio, both in Seattle, both still ‘extant’ after 30 plus years.
John is a frequent guest at conventions around the world. He lives in Los Angeles with his beloved wife (and fellow convention-goer) of twenty plus glorious years, actress Bonita Friedericy.
