New Client Dan Madsen

PR Celebrity is thrilled to welcome Dan Madsen. Dan is a prominent figure in fan communities. He founded The Official Star Trek Fan Club with Gene Roddenberry and was asked by George Lucas to oversee the Official Star Wars Fan Club. Dan supervised the fan club, publishing and merchandising aspects for New Line’s Lord of the Rings trilogy and Universal’s Back to the Future films. He founded and produced the first official Star Wars convention, Star Wars Celebration, which continues today. He was the founder and owner of FANtastic Media from 1986-2001. Dan has written over 500 professional interviews with industry legends including Steven Spielberg, Peter Jackson, Harrison Ford, George Lucas, Leonard Nimoy and Ron Howard. He authored the book On the Set and Behind the Scenes: The Making of the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. He played Dams Denna in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Dan currently oversees marketing and publicity for Her Universe, the first line of apparel for female sci-fi fans including fashion lines for Star Wars and Marvel.
